Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Dear YDCA Family,

In response to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic and to ensure we are adhering to the direction of our health and government authorities YDCA has taken the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our youth and the overall community, by postponing all our events until further notice, in an effort to slow down and minimize the spread of the virus. This includes all after school programs, parent events, peer groups, open gym and tournaments.

YDCA team members are actively monitoring the COVID-19 Coronavirus developments as it relates to the health, safety and well-being of our community and team members. We are continuing to check local health and government updates and will keep you posted on changes as they happen. Thank you for your support and commitment.

Let's Work Together To Beat This! Here's What You Can Do.

1Stay at home when you can

Restrict the activities you have outside of your home, except for getting medical care and emergencies. If you can stay home stay home and minimize your public interactions with others as well as public transportation, ride-sharing, etc. And if you’re sick STAY HOME!
Instead: Order online, Play a board game with family, etc.

2Distance, Distance, Distance

Give yourself as much distance from people as possible. This will help limit the spread.
Instead: Facetime, Call, DM, etc.

3Seek medical care, if needed, right away

Call your healthcare provider if you think you have or may have COVID-19 Right Away! The sooner you contact your healthcare provider the sooner you can get the help you need.

4Practice good hygiene

It is important that we practice good hygiene if we’re going to beat this! If you sneeze or cough COVER YOUR MOUTH with a tissue, hand cloth or by sneezing/coughing in your elbow. Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds often! Clean surfaces; tables, phones, etc. that you use often regularly with cleaning products (be sure to wear gloves while cleaning to protect yourself). Avoid touching your face, we know it’s easier said then done but if we can set our mind to it we can do it!
