Anthony H. Morris, M.A. earned his B.S and M.A degrees from Chicago State University, while raising, his now adult children who are also college graduates. Morris is an author of a recently published book called (The Blueprint for Survival as a Single Parent). Morris’s success was not gained easily being that he had to fight for full custody and put his children in private schools all on his own, making him a single parent. Morris has always had a passion to help single parents, youth and families, which fueled the drive to obtain his M.A. in Professional Counseling, and he currently aids in the development of several families through single-parenting and youth coaching in his community.

Taking it a step further he decided to launch Youth Development Center of America (YDCA) in 2011 and is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. Morris serves his community through his expertise in counseling, mentoring, single-parenting coaching and personal experience through his book, which gives guidance to today’s parents, and at risk youth.
